20 Goals for 2020

I don't like setting goals.

A bit controversial for a "2020 goals" post, I know but bear with!

I don't like setting goals because saying them aloud or writing them on the internet for all to see probably means I will not achieve one single thing on my list. I also don't like setting goals at the very beginning of January because to me the new year needs time to settle before I decide what I want out of it.

However, I also believe that you have to state your intentions aloud for them to manifest.

(I'm such a study in contradictions, I know.)

So I'm not setting goals per se but I am stating the intention to do/achieve the following twenty things in 2020.

BTW this post was entirely inspired by Lucy Moon's 2020 goals video.

1. PASS MY DRIVING TEST.
2. READ MORE, SCROLL LESS.
3. JOURNAL EVERY DAY.
4. FINISH WRITING MY NOVEL.
5. WRITE EVERY DAY.
6. BE KINDER TO MYSELF.
7. DEVELOP HEALTHY HABITS E.G WALKING A BIT MORE EVERYDAY
8. KICK THE COMPARISON HABIT.
9. CONSUME LESS NEGATIVITY.
10. BUY LESS, USE MORE.
11. SAVE MONEY CONSISTENTLY.
12. STICK TO MY DAILY ROUTINES.
13. COOK MORE.
14. START CREATING VIDEO CONTENT.
15. DECLUTTER MY WARDROBE.
16. REORGANISE MY BEDROOM.
17. GROW MY BUSINESS.
18. GROW MY ONLINE PLATFORMS.
19. LEARN TO SAY NO.
20. DON'T LOSE MYSELF.

Twenty things I hope to achieve in 2020. Some are big, like f i n a l l y passing my driving test, and some are small like trying to cook more instead of relying on takeaway lunches 😅

I could write paragraph upon paragraph expanding upon these goals but the list is enough. Talking too much about goals gives your brain that wee dopamine rush the exact same as completing them does so I'm keeping it zipped 🤐

This list is putting my intentions out to the universe and it's up to me to work my butt off to achieve them 💪🏻

Have you set any goals or intentions for 2020?

  1. These are inspiring goals! Learning to say no is a constant goal for me. Getting that habblit down really leaves me feel powerful and more confident about myself 😁
